Welcome. Up for saleestate fresh is a very fine 1800's Japanese or Chinese hand carved and dovetailed wooden lunch box. The box is dovetailed constructed with a carved and pinned carrying handle. The folk art painting of Birds, fruit and florals is just wonderful. The interior of the box still has a lot of its original red paint remaining. Looks like the woods are oak and pine. Because of its age the box is sold as is. This wonderful antique box measures approx. 17" in L., 9 3/4" in W. and 14 1/2" in H. Any questions please e-mail us prior to purchase. Thanks for looking.
