I HAVE A ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE 1800s SS WHITE FOOT PEDAL DENTIST DENTAL THREADLE DRILL CAST IRON MANUAL MACHINE.This Industrial Dentist Dental Treadle Drill is a very cool and interesting antique dentist drill from the 1890s. The drill is powered manually with a foot pedal that turns the wheel and pulleys when the rope like spring is rigged through pulleysThe machine has a cast iron base painted black. This drill is commonly referred to as a treadle drill and has an expandable arm that swings back and forth. Arm is removable from the base. "S.S.W" is marked on the foot pedal. The basic function of the machine works as it should, with that being said this machine and its parts are over 100 years old and would not be something that could actually be used, ( Not that I think anyone would want to actually use it ) but just wanted to give an idea of its functionability. There is some wear from over the years but in my opinion look great for its age, just needs a good overall cleaning.
