Rare Antique 1850 Minton Florentine 14" Covered Soup Tureen.Minton English China Majolica Rare Soup Tureen.This is an extraordinary Minton soup tureen with magnificent form and decoration. This Tureen is done in Minton's Florentine Pattern which dates from the marking as 1850! Extremely old and rare! This pattern, with its magnificent orange Griffins and cameos is one of the most sought after for vintage Minton collectors. The tureen is in beautiful condition, is fully stamped and represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of high quality vintage Minton.All of the handles are outlined in high quality gold with very little actual wear to any of the surfaces. There is absolutely NO damage!The tureen is also an imposing size measuring 14" across, including the handles, 11" across without the handles, and a full height of 9". It looks like it would hold at least 2 quarts. There is a good size opening that awaits a sterling silver ladle.This will be wrapped well by UPS shipping store and shipped fully insured.
