Antique Figural Aesthetic by Wilcox Silverplate Co Stunning 1870's cake plate combining the beauty of the human hand with nature/ insects, flowers, and birds in one solid piece of art. It combines both satin and bright finishes. Beautiful detail in this piece. This stands 13 inches tall and 10 inches wide and weighs almost 3 pounds. The bowl screws off for easy cleaning. The bottom is stamped - Quadruple Plate - Wilcox Silver Plate Co - (Cross hammers symbol) - 861Since this piece is so old I do not know what the original condition looked like. It has a tiny mark on top of the base that I do not know if it is damage or original. All of the soldiering points look primitive to me so I cannot tell if they are all original or not. Please see all of the photos for condition and bid accordingly.
