Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 1870's Early American Waterbury Ogee Mantel Shelf Clock, made by the Waterbury Clock Waterbury Conn. USA. This has a Victorian Mahogany Rosewood Veneer Wood Case with Victorian Reverse Painted Glass Lower Tablet. This Has a Painted Metal Dial with Roman Numerals in Good Condition. This Measures approx. 17" Tall x 10" Wide x 4 1/4" Deep. The Clock has a Waterbury Brass Mechanical 'Time Only' Lever Escapement Movement, and Includes a Winding Key. This Clock Runs Sluggishly and Will Need Lube, Adjustments or Cleaning to Work Correctly. This Has Not Been Serviced or Tested Long Term, and is Being Sold As Found with Great Potential! The Case is In Good Original Condition, as Pictured, with Some Wear From Age, with a Wonderful Aged Patina! This will make a Stunning addition to your Home or Clock Collection.
