RARE FIND!! ANTIQUE VINTAGE 1890s BICYCLE AMES & FROST CO CHICAGO PROGRESS MODEL 78Based on research, we estimate that this bike was made in 1898.Bike has its original paint, it has flaked off in some spots.Original wood rims with 31 spokes.The bell has 'sterling bells' on the thumb piece. The bell works great.The pedals each have 'Spinaway No 8. Made in USA' on them.The rear fender and chain guard are made out of wood.The leather seat has 'Lee' printed on the side.
