Offered is this antique domestic flour storage bin with built-in sifter and original advertising label marked The CLIPPER MFG. CO. CINCINNATI, O. FLOUR BIN AND SIEVE . This is a very rare tinned sheet metal kitchen tool made in the early 1890's to be used in home kitchens, either hung on the wall or mounted in a Hoosier Cabinet. It's a large tool measuring 12 1/2 inches in diameter and 32 1/2 inches top to bottom.Condition : This is complete with all original parts in good working condition. Sifter turns properly, lid and measuring cup fit snugly and stay in place and hanging bracket is reliably sturdy. There are a few small areas where the tinning is worn with light rust and the label shows some tattering. All metal is excellent with no obvious dings, no dents and no holes.
