There are no paper labels on this tiny bottle that we found in our barn. It's a late 19th century Tappan New York Perfume Bottle. We've seen very similar bottles with remains of "Sweet Bye and Bye Bouquet" label, but many many perfumes were made in the 1890 - 1909.The Tappan Company produces affordable perfumes & colognes during the Victorian era of the late 19th century. It was fairly common for perfume makers to design & patent their own bottle designs. The early Tappan bottles are cylindrical in same & embossed on one side with the Tappan New York name & logo. These bottles were originally sold with a nickel plated spritzer as the stopper.Bottle stand 3 1/8" tall. Heel is 1 3/8" wide.Condition is Very Good. Lip of the bottle is chipped around the outer edge. Please see the photo for details.
