Congratulations! You are bidding on a magnificent antique Victorian 1890's Hall seat/tree with bevelled mirror. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly, it has the look and feel of a throne!! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. It does have one area where the wood panels have separated slightly in the middle of the back of the seat (see pics) but it in no way takes away from the overall look of the piece. This would make a wonderful statement in any entryway or hall! I have seen a lot of antique hall trees and seats however, I have never seen one this fancy. Measurements: 72 inches tall x 38 inches wide x 23 inches deep NOTE: This piece of furniture is big and heavy and will NOT fit in a car, mini van or SUV. Please bring a truck when picking it up.
