Bidding on a sterling silver Repousse Ink Blotter, made by the Howard Sterling Co. The Howard Sterling Co. was in Providence RI from 1878-1902. The Ink Blotter has a mahogany wood base clad in sterling silver, with a sterling silver knob. The Ink Blotter has a floral repousse design, with a monogramed initial "S" on top of knob. The Ink Blotter has a date of 1892 on side, and is marked STERLING with maker's mark on another side. The Ink Blotter is in excellent condition.
