An antique, artist signed, English, framed portrait miniature. Fresh from a prominent, Atlanta estate comes this small painting. It is a portrait of Charles Manners (b. 1754-d.1787), 4th Duke of Rutland. I assume I do not have to state what materials it is made from. See my other auctions for a portrait of his wife, the Duchess & a French portrait of Napoleon II. The frame measures about 4" (10 cm.) x 3 3/8" (8.5 cm.) & the portrait 1 7/8" (4.5 cm.) x 1 1/2" (3.5 cm.). It is in excellent condition. Bid now!
