The item for sale is an antique 18th century knife made by master cutler John Winters. This is clearly signed J. Winters 24 Furnace Hill , Sheffield England. The knife is in fair condition. Looks to have an early repair(see pics). and a couple of tight bone cracks. I know little of knives. This was found in a Saratoga NY estate attic cleanout between some floor boards. The knife measures 7 inches long, the large blade is approx. 3 inches , the small blade measures approx. 2 inches. There is plenty of wear. Please see the pics for details.
