For consideration in this auction is a very beautifully made Mason's piece. T are several parts to this item. I considered taking it apart and selling the pieces separately to maximize the amount of profit to me, but some items such as this should be considered first of all for the historical value over the actual monetary value. This is a very special piece, it has very good vibes, and it is evident that is was worn so proudly and frequently by the previous owner/owners. It was from an elderly person's estate, and I know nothing about the previous owner. The bottom square charm is about 1" by 1" and is thick and made of 2 separate pieces (front and back). The front has a beautiful border and a blue enameled cross design. ( t is a small chip in the blue enamel.) The back has an ornate engraved monogram that is slightly worn , and I can't read the letters , they are very fancy.This piece tests to be 14K gold. It is difficult to weigh this as it is attached to the leather strap, but if I hang the strap to the side, the medal prob. weighs about 10g to 12g. It is a pretty substantial piece of gold. The middle piece is a leather strap with a Masons service pin in the middle, and it has the same blue enamel.
