ANTIQUE 1904 HARCOVER BOOK MUSIC-STORY SERIES VIOLINThis item is in excellent condition for its age. The edges of the pages are worn. No major tears. The 327 page book describes the history of the violin. T are many black and white pictures as well. The author's name is Paul Stoeving. This book is said to be published in London at the water scott publishing co in 1904. T is also a large fold out page displaying a chronological table showing the descent of violin-playing from masters to pupils since the founding of the roman school; alsoa few small independant groups of players. This book is very interesting and full of incredible information. A great addition for a historical book collector's addition. The book measures 7 1/4" tall, 5 5/8" wide, and 1 5/8" thick.
