Antique 1904 New Haven Gold Gilded Alarm Carriage Clock ...... I was able to keep this patented 1904 New Haven Alarm Clock running for close to two minutes before it stopped. Both springs are wound tight and I guarantee 100% this clock only needs a good cleaning and it will keep good time once a gain. The Intermittent Alarm also works. The alarm will go off for about 15 seconds and then stop. Thirty seconds later it goes off again and continues to do this until you slide the silent lever over. I guess this is an early version of a snooze alarm. It measures 3 ½" wide by 2" deep by 4 ¼" tall not counting the 2 3/8" tall swing handle. T is some wear to the Gold gilding from handling over the years exposing the bronze layer underneath, which is over a Spelter metal. The beveled glass crystal, enameled face and blued steel hands are all perfect. I am missing the tiny set hand for the alarm, but that's it. Everything else is original and perfect. I have kept my reserve on this antique New Haven Alarm Clock just above my costs to make sure that it sells.
