This is a wonderful antique Velvet Ripe Old Kentucky Burley Tobacco Cigar or Tobacco Glass Humidor Drugstore Jar. It's a wonderful example with its original intact and vibrantly colored label and part of the US Internal Revenue Stamp. It measures 6" tall and has a diameter about 5 1/4". This Humidor has no chips or cracks in the glass but there is some small roughness around the inside rim of the jar from the lid being placed on it. This does not detract from this piece at all and it is in excellent condition for its age. This old humidor shows the usual manufacturer bubbles, ripples and straw marks that is typical of glass its age.
