ANTIQUE 1915 WESTERN ELECTRIC CANDLESTICK TELEPHONE - NO RESERVE This 1915 Western Electric Candlestick Telephone has been in my family for over 30 years. I have actually hooked it up to my phone system and it actually still works - you can hear and talk through the phone. It has 3 patent dates on it, with the latest at January 26, 1915 and is marked #3238W. It is all original and has no noticeable nicks or chips and stands approximately 12 inches tall. The bakelite handset has no cracks in it. The cord is still intact but has a few frays in it and, of course, t is no fitting at the end of the fabric covered cord. I have attached a number of pictures which I believe show about everything t is to know about the phone. As can be seen from the pictures, this phone has a "push-button" instead of a dial (to call the operator?). The shipping calculator is being provided as a shipping estimate only. The buyer will pay the actual shipping and handling which may be slightly more or less than the estimate. Please wait to be invoiced before making payment.
