This Original Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Fantastic LARGE 16x12mm Dendritic Agate gemstone that is all natural and guaranteed as such. The pattern in this agate resembles EVERGREEN BRANCHES . This Dendritic Agate has some RARE ORANGE in the Dendrites as most Dendritic Agate has Black/Grey Dendrites only. This Dendritic Agate is a Flat Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The patterns in this agate are formed completely by nature and are guaranteed as such. Dendritic Agate is an almost transparent chalcedony with dendritic tree or fern-like inclusions of iron or manganese. The famous Russian jeweler Carl Faberge famous for his priceless eggs, who was a supplier to the Russian Imperial Court from 1885 to 1916, used dendritic agates together with diamonds and for many of his pieces.
