ITEM: You are bidding on an antique original late 1920s framed print titled Out of the Sky they Come featuring a heroic portrait of Charles A. Lindbergh endorsing the fast and efficient service of the airmail with the purported quote "Air Mail Saves Time" and the Spirit of St. Louis plane as depicted by the esteemed Robert Atkinson Fox printed on pebbled stock paper from the gone but not forgotten Thos. D. Murphy Co. of Red Oak, Iowa. This vibrant lithograph is housed in a gesso frame behind glass. Measures a framed 11 1/2 " by 8" with an image sight of 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" 100% guaranteed an original and dazzling old example. CONDITION: In very fine condition with dark strong colors -- The frame too is handsome and requires a back hanging wire as seen. ***************** BIO: The Spirit of St. Louis was built by the Ryan Company of San Diego, California, for 25-year-old air-mail pilot Charles Lindbergh.
