Rare Antique 1929 German Biscaloid Gladdie Character Doll Helen Webster JensenDescriptionLOOKING FOR THE PERFECT LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS GIFT!How About This Amazing Rare & Hard To FindGladdie Character Doll!Up for auction is thisWonderful Rare Antique 1929 German Biscaloid Gladdie Character DollDesigned By Artist Helen Webster Jensen.This sweet face Gladdie doll is 18" (45cm) tall.Her Biscaloid head is in very nice condition.It has no breaks, repairs or hairlines.She has her original brown German glass blown sleeper eyes.She has the cutest face.She is laughing so hard she will have you lauging.She will bring you lots of Joy every time you look at her.She is a very rare doll & very sought after.This cute antique character doll has molded & panted hair &her original brown sleep eyes.Gladdie has a happy grinning expression with aopen/close mouth with molded teeth & tongue.Her Biscaloid head can use some cleaning & she has a few paint rubson the back of her hair but it is not bad.Her issue is her composition limbs,The composition is cracking, crazing & lifting in places.She could use some restoring on her limbs.However, you do not have to restore her legs just pull up her stockingsso, you can not see the crazing.(see photos)She wears a vintage white cotton dresswith pink & blue embroidery & lace.Underneath she wears cotton undershirt & bottoms.Her socks & blue shoes are replaced.She is a Lovely Rare Antique Character Doll that isextremely sought after.Gladdie with have you smiling every time you look at her.She would also be a great addition to Your Antique Doll Collection.I have tried my best to give great detail andmany photos of this lovely Antique Doll.If you have any other questions or need tosee more close ups feel free to email me.I want you to be very happy with your purchase so please ask questions.FYI...My home is also a smoke free home but some of my dollscome from the homes of other collectors and I am not sure of their homes but I will let you know if I smell smoke.
