Up for your consideration is an antique doll designed by Joseph Kallus for the Cameo Company. This is an original Joseph Kallus doll made for the Cameo Company in 1929. Her name is Margie as seen on the red painted label on her chest along with the designers name. Her head is made of composition and it does show some cracking especially on her molded hair and left cheek. Her painted blue eyes, rosy cheeks and red lips look pretty good except for her right eye shows some blue paint loss. Her beige color body is made of jointed wood pieces held together with thick string and her shirt and shoes are painted green. She measures 10" long. The green color does show some wear, her side bottom piece has a crack and she is missing her composition hands. In all this is a nice doll that is in good condition for her age. Thank you for looking.
