Antique Italian Pietra Dura
Fine old Florentine Pietra Dura plaque dating to the late 19th or early 20th century and framed in a 1940s gold-leaf and hand-painted Italian frame.

The frame is also Italian and hand-made. It is decorated with authentic gold-leaf and hand-painted floral scrolls, contrasting and complimenting the striking black backgound and subtle colors of the hardstone plaque.
The details are very fine and the workmanship of the highest quality.
