A very appealing mid 19th century Sutherland table in very small proportions. Almost small enough to be an apprentice piece (a young graduating furniture maker's assessment piece), although equally of size and proportions suited to a coffee or afternoon tea table. Lovely, high sheen mahognay patina. Turned legs on original brass castors, with ceramic wheels in good order. Measures 25 and a half inches wide extended, 21 and half inches deep and 22 and a half inches tall. A useful, portable, attractive, period occassional table.
