Up forauction is a fine set of Two Signed Chinese Famille Rose Celadon Glazed Plates. The Plates are finely and ornately decorated throughout with an interesting famille rose floral, bird, and Butterflies design. The Plates also have a beautiful light green celadon glaze throughout. The plates are signed and I have been told would date to the earlier 19th century, Chinese Jiaqing to Daoguang period. The Plates shows some very light wear throughout but overall for their early age are in fine original condition with no large cracks, or repairs, The plates display beautifully measuring 7-1/2 inches across x1 inches H. A beautiful piece that will be much admired in your home or office. It will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy. Nice plates! The condition is good for the age. each plate has one chip around the rim some rubbing to gilt; one hairline under glaze please view daylight pictures and judge.
