Completly original 19th century French billhook. Check the fine grain and patina on the wooden handle with two iron ferrules. Blade is massive but not very heavy, having a super-flat profile, making it an excellent chopper and an efficient implement in times of manual labor. It has a rare shallow curve and deeply struck marks, partially readable. Overall length is 42cm.
