This is a superb antique c 19th century oak carved Black Forest cuckoo clock with stag to top. This cuckoo clock is superbly carved with stag and with oak leaves surrounding. The carved oak case itself is beautiful, very lovely antique carved case. Restoration to clock is required however to restore to working order. Damage to note - repair to top where stag is carved. The stag has damage to three legs with hooves broken off/missing, and an antler missing. Stag is held to top of carving with metal plate as image shows. Clock hands missing - cuckoo present but its head is broken off/missing. Cuckoo's door missing. Oak carved case appears to be in good condition and both weights are present. The pendulum is present but no pendulum weight present. Interior of clock - please see images. This clock is being sold as seen and not in working order. Height of clock some 15" - not including the carved piece with leaping stag. That piece measures some 8.75" height and some 12.75" long. Width of clock some 12" max. Depth of clock case some 4.5". Weights measure some 7.25 A very fine collectable c 19th century Black Forest cuckoo clock - for restoration - with fine oak carved case and with carved stag to top.
