ANTIQUE 19thC SCOTTISH SOLID SILVER SUGAR SHAKER / CASTER, EDINBURGH c.1888 Description Antique 19th Century Scottish Solid Silver large baluster shaped sugar caster / shaker. Hand embossed and engraved with vacant scrollwork cartouches either side, removable pierced cap with vase shaped finial. Hallmarked Scottish Silver, Edinburgh, year 1888 (g), Maker's mark M&W (Unknown to me), probably for Wilson & Sharp (the name of the well known Scottish Silversmiths is written on the base).
