Wonderful antique 31 inch Flemish Art pyrography box with grapevine design, circa 1900. Flemish Art or pyrography, the burning of designs onto a wooden surface, was a popular hobby of Victorian ladies early in the 20th century. This is the largest and most distinctive Flemish box I have had. This box has 3 interior compartments. It is in very good to excellent condition, expecially for its considerable age. The smooth patina and signs of age add to its beauty. Please see the photographs for general appearance and condition. Shipping and handling will be $25 - $30, based upon zipcode of the buyer.
