This is a 20" Armand Marseille socket head doll on a jointed composition body. She's marked on the back of her head: Made in Germany, 390, A. 2 M. She has a perfect head, no chips, cracks or breaks, and has set blue threaded glass eyes and an open mouth with four teeth. Her body is in very good condition and, as far as I know, is in its original paint. I bought this lovely doll at auction, so I don't know her past. She wears replaced clothes, some of it old, some of it not so old. Her cotton and lace dress is beautiful, her straw hat has some matching lace. She wears pink ribbed knee socks and high top tie shoes. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper for transit, her pate is lightly attached to her head and easily removed and her wig is pinned to the pate. Her quite thick replaced wig exactly matches the color of her molded and painted eyebrows. This is a beautiful and quality made doll that has held up well over the years. She should last another 100 years! A great addition to a collection. I do not ship out of the US unless you inquire first.
