Antique 4.5” CROWN MOULDING PLANE * Molding Please note: This auction ends on Thursday ; prompt payment should permit plenty of time for USA delivery before Christmas. This week I am selling a few antique moulding planes that were officially deaccessioned from the Historical Society of Berks County (HSBC). Documentation on HSBC letterhead can be provided to any winning bidder by request. This auction is for a 4 ½” wide crown moulding plane that cuts a 4 1/8” wide ogee curved moulding. The total length is 14 ½” long and the height is 7”. The plane has nice chamfered edges and a hand-shaved dowel near the front for extra leverage. The blade & wedge are very tight (I could not get them out). The plane is in Fine condition with dirt & light surface rust on the blade from storage, and a painted museum accession number on the heel end. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.
