Albion Antiek AntiquePottery ABC Plate Transferware Staffordshire Chinese Musician This listing is for an unusual antique ABC (alphabet) pottery plate. This plate is transfer printed in teal (blueish green) with a red painted trim. This plate dates to ca. 1830's and is not marked but was probably made in Staffordshire (England). This child's plate shows a "Chinese Musician" and measures 6-1/4" across (15,8 cm). There is a crack with a small bruise and chip on the edge. Apart from that it is fine with no other chips or cracks and no repairs or restoration. Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Holland) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe.
