This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and is an original oil painting that is an original piece from the late 1800s or early part of the 1900s and is possibly Hudson or Catskill School Painting. This is an original oil on Panel Board that depicts a beautiful Winter Homestead Landscape. The was done in great detail with color and clarity set on this beautiful winter landscape with two beautiful Homestead Cottages or Houses with a figural headed home in the snow possibly of an early time period that can be the artists way of portryaing a beautiful winter snowy day. It has beautiful trees and bushes that surround the painting with beautiful warm color tones that were very well done from the tonalism in the sky. This is a painting that can be accented in a hallway or foyer, living room or over a sideboard in a dining room and anyw else throughout your home that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation and will look BEAUTIFUL when the light hits the painting and brings out its color tones which were very well blended. This painting is very calm and relaxing to the eye and a great subject that is very hard to find. The beauty of art is that it can be see in many dfferent ways and is all in the eye of the beholder.
