This antique mechanical pencil has a highly polished banded agate body. The mechanical part is gold plated and twists to bring the lead forward. It has no markings. It is 5 1/8" long and 1/4" in diameter. The agate is perfect. Some of the gold plating is worn off the high spots of the metal part and it has a tiny dent as shown in the close-up.
