Antique All American 5 Radio (Ca. 1950's) This is an antique radio which uses the All American 5 tube lay out. I do not know who made it or when it was made, but by the looks of the chassis and its parts, I would guess that it is an early 1950's radio. It is a good playing radio and it looks very attractive with its crack and chip free cabinet showing very minimal, if any, scratches. For safety purposes, I made and installed a back panel. If anyone can identify this radio, please let me know, and if in time, I can add that information to the description. Otherwise, it is a very nice radio for a comprehensive collection.Approximate Dimensions: 9" W x 6" H x 5 ½" DTubes: 12SA7, 12SK7, 12SQ7, 35Z5, 50L6My radio refurbishments include one or more of the following as needed:Cabinet, chassis, and tube cleaningReplacement of out of tolerance capacitors and resistorsElectrolytic capacitor replacementLubrication of tuning capacitor bearingsOn/off switch cleaningAntenna, oscillator, and I-F alignmentHairline fracture bondingCabinet joint bondingPower cord/polarized plug replacementSpeaker repairKnob repairDial cover cleaning/replacementAdd a back panelTube replacement for weak tubesI-F replacementOther parts, component replacementBench testing--------------------------WARNING!!!!-----------------------The high voltages encountered in antique/vintage
