This is an original antique glass paperweight advertising Money Orders for sale by the American Express Company. This paperweight measures about 2.5âex 4âe and is about an inch thick with green felt on the bottom. Within the glass is a printed rate card for American Express Money Orders beginning with 3 cents for money orders of not more than $2.50 and going up to 30 cents for orders of $100. I am not sure of the exact date but this is definitely an antique which I estimate dates to the early 20 th century, perhaps circa 1905 or so. This glass paper weight is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
