Antique Amoy Davenport Flow Blue 10.25 inch Plate -1844.This is a gorgeous flow blue ironstone dinner plate made by the Davenport Pottery in Longport, Staffordshire , England in 1844. It is in the Amoy oriental pattern with a beautiful vivid blue color. This plate is marked with the Davenport Amoy flow blue name, and embossed with the Davenport Anchor pottery mark. If you look closely at the anchor you will see a 4 on either side, this indicates the plate was made in 1844. This is a very old plate is 177 years old! There is a crack on the back of this plate,it doesn't appear on the front of the plate. There is some roughness along the edge of the plate where the glaze has worn and a couple of warn spots on the border of the plate.There are some small holes in the glaze mostly on the back of the plate. This plate is sold as is, please see photos.It is still a very beautiful plate for display.The Davenport Pottery was owned and run by the Davenport family 1794-1887.Measures 10.25 inch
