This auction is for a very nice Ansonia art nouveau style statue clock. The model name is "CYMRIC" and it is circa 1906. This clock is in very nice condition and it still retains almost all of it's original finish with only minor ware spots. This clock is all original except for the statue. The movement is in great running condition and I have cleaned and oiled it to save you money. With the statue, this clock stands about 24 1/2" tall and 11 3/4" wide. The bezel opens and shuts fine and the glass is in great shape. The original marked porcelain dial is almost perfect. It only has one small chip at the number 4 that just barely nicks the end numeral right above the winding arbor. The only flaw with the case is one of the rear feet has a piece missing (see the picture). This took me several years to notice since it was on the back of the clock. Like I said, the statue isn't original but it does come with the clock. The statue has the pat. date 6/26/24 on the back. This is truly a beautiful clock that even the most seasoned clock collector would like to have in his collection. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for looking. Always consider shipping charges when bidding. As with all old clocks, some adjustment may be needed after shipping.
