ANTIQUE CIRCA 1878 ANSONIA GINGERBREAD 8-DAY MANTLE/SHELF CLOCK "LINTON" W/ ORIGINAL GLASS ETCHED DOOR Up for bid is this Antique used 8-Day Ansonia Mantle/Shelf Clock in very good condition. No dings, scratches or repairs. This lovely clock keeps perfect time, nice chimeS, and comes with key. All it needs is polishing and you have beautiful clock Measures 22" Tall & 12 3/4" Wide x 10" This Ansonia clock was awarded a Prize Medal at the "Paris Exposition 1878", according to old label on the back. It also reads "Factories in Ansonia, Conn & Brooklyn, New York" - also "LINTON". This wooden cock is in great detail, and the workmanship is awsome. The clock has a lovely design etched on the original glass door. The face shows it's age which adds to it's authenticity.
