Antique APOTHECARY GLASS JAR Drug Store Candy Jar w/ Lid 6 INCH DIAMETER, 7 INCHES TALL WITHOUT LID, 8 1/2 TALL WITH LID VERY ANTIQUE THE FOLLOWING INDICATE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN MID 1800s OR EARLIER :OFF CENTER PONTIL SCAR ON BOTTOM (from disc pontil?)swirling in glass around pontil markSEVERAL BUBBLES IN GLASS, ONE LARGE 1/2 INCH WIDEMADE IN A THREE PIECE MOLDSIDE SEAM MARKS ARE NOT SHARP AND DON'T REACH THE JAR LIPIn general, the glass thickness of both the jar and lid is inconsistent - not machine made CONDITION: Very good to Excellent especially considering it's ageNO CRACKS OR BAD CHIPSThere are multiple "flea bite" chips (about 1/16 inch) around the inside perimeter of the jar lip (see last photo) and a few on the lidThis will be carefully packed with a lot of bubble wrap.NO RESERVE!U.S. SHIPPING ONLY
