Western SpiceA neat old Western-style spice bottle from the mid to late 18th century. It has an eight-sided body with concave front and back panels, cylindrical neck and applied lip. The base has the diagonal line and circular indentation of the post-bottom mold. I'm not a bottle expert, but found this at an estate sale and it's a great looking piece. There are no embossed letters; I guess that it would have borne a paper label when it was made. From what I understand, Pacific Glass Works was a major maker of this type bottle, but It's not marked so I can't be sure who made it. Great primitive appeal; a nice one to add to the collection. One small chip along a rib, and other normal light wear, inclusions, bubbles, perhaps tiny nibbles, dust, dirt, etc.7" high[ p e n c i l p o i n t e r >Shipping?
