This GORGEOUS antique Mission or Stickley style stool is from the O.W. Richardson & Co. furniture and rug store of Chicago.The store was in operation in Chicago from 1918-1940s. The company incorporated in 1900.The Stickley style was popular in the early 1900s which is from when this stool dates.-Dark wood is very heavy, I’m thinking oak, but not for sure.-fake white leather upholstery-lots of metal upholstery tacks design feature-center “H” stretcher-square legs abs stretcher-original metal plaque from store identifying itself as Rich-Tex Quality Furniture from O.W.Richardson & Co.- metal tacks on bottom of legsDimensions: 14.75" tall x 11.75" deep x 16.75" wide.
