Diamond Grading/Opinions We rarely grade the diamonds we sell. Diamond grading is not an exact science. Human judgment and opinion plays a crucial role in grading a diamond for color and clarity. Two similar diamonds could have comparable flaws and yet differ in how they look to the naked eye. Because of this, in the rare occasion that we do grade a diamond, know that there could be a 1-2 grade difference in opinion. If you take a piece of jewelry you buy from us to a retail jeweler for an opinion, the is a chance that the retail jeweler could be bias, as there is an inherent conflict of interest. The retail jeweler is quite possibly only interested in selling THEIR ITEMS to you. Photos We rely heavily on our photos to describe our items. The photos we take and the colors they display, may vary from monitor to monitor. Some photos may be enlarged up to 10xs so you can see detailing/imperfections that you are not able to see with the naked eye. Know this about our pictures though; We have been doing this a long time and our pictures are reflective of what each item looks like. It does neither one of us any good when the photo is way better than what you get in the mail, so we don't play games with our photos.
