This listing is for a 14K Gold and Seed Pearl Brooch/Pin that is in a 'Crescent Moon & Flower' Design. This item was recently purchased from an estate. SPECIFICATIONS : This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report. Material : 14K Gold, Tiny Seed Pearls Signed : This item is marked 14K with a makers mark on the back...see images. Dimensions : This item measures about 1 1/2" x 5/8" or so at the largest points. Gemstones : This item is detailed with tiny seed pearls...see images. Monograms : None Weight : 2.3 Grams Condition : This item is in vintage condition with several signs of age/wear and use. Please see images to get a closer look at this items condition. The pearls seem in good condition with no large chips that I can locate. there are some scratches, scuffs and tiny flakes on a few of the pearls, though in general they seem to be in good estate condition. There are several irregularities and imperfections in the nacre layer on these pearls...please see images. The gold is in vintage condition, with several signs of age/wear, and there are some repairs on this item as well. There is a repair on the back of this item where a petal of the flower meets with the crescent moon....please see images. A small metal plate was added to join the flower and the crescent moon in this area...please see images. The end of the crescent moon (where the catch is mounted) also has a repair. It appears as though the entire tip of the crescent moon was reinforced at the end where the catch is mounted -please see close images. As the catch is mounted on this repair, the catch might be a replacement....see images. The gold on this item has some dings, dimples, scratches and imperfections in some areas, as well as wear and signs of age. All in all, I would have to say that this item is in vintage condition with signs of age/wear and use.
