Presented is an antique, sterling silver pie, cake or pastry server made during the very early 1900s by R. Blackinton. This piece is in the Thistle pattern, which was patented in 1901 and it is old, original production. The handle is covered in raised thistles and leaves and it has never been monogrammed. The base is done in a slice form and has a ruffled edge.The back is marked sterling and patent 1901.This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp.
