For your consideration is a fantastic art nouveau sliding bookrack! This has been in my family for years. I need to simplify my life--my loss is your gain! These bookends are in great original condition and fortunately haven't been painted. I'm not an expert, but I believe these were either made by the Judd Manufacturing Company of Wallingford, Connecticut, or by Bradley & Hubbard around the the very early part of the 20th century. Not only are they perfect to display a lovely vintage book collection, they would also be a great way to organize DVDs or CDs. The motif of beautiful ladies, flowing hair and pretty flowers is classic Art Nouveau! These bookends are stamped with the number 9759. They measure 9 3/4" long unextended to 15 1/4" extended, 4 1/4" tall and 5" wide at the base. Don't let such a unique item pass you by!
