hello everyone, This sconce is great and has a vibrant cranberry slag glass shade. It measures 28" tall overall by 6" square with an 8" projection. The shaft is comprised of a collar with a tightening screw that holds the shaft secure to the wall. T is a separation on the seam of the brass collar (see pic), which can be bent back after the piece is attached to the wall. This is a period fixture, so please take care when installing it as the metal is thin. Cheers.
