GORGEOUS EIDERDOWN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE Measures:68 inches by 82 inches To buy a new eiderdown like this one would cost you THOUSANDS and they don't have the historical or aesthetic value as this one. This comforter weighs approx. 4.5 pounds. This is a GORGEOUS european piece.From a rich estate. The softest thing on ebay.UTTERLY SOFT! The cover of this is made of a very cotton sateen...so finely woven that is feels as soft as silk. Circa early 1900's Background color is an light cream color with the design done in burgundy and taupe. The design is an arts & crafts or art nouveau floral design. Gold piping all the way around. This is a true vintage piece prior to fill power...but at relaxation this measures approximately 2.5 inches thick. So soft... ABSOLUTELY LOVELY No holes. Would recommend a cleaning...edges are slightly darker.General dust soiling from sitting in storage. Would be stunning once cleaned.Or for the authentic antique look...use as is. Lovely for the period home. Also great for the arts & crafts, art nouveau or french chateau decor home. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding. Shipping costs are paid by the buyer.
