A Pair of Exquisite and Unique Antique LampsThese lamps are a pair of converted hand painted ceramic vases, fitted with a base and top from the 1920s. The vase part of these lamps are said to date back to the late 1800s.The vase parts are exquisitely hand painted, with very fine detail. What really makes them special is that they feature finely crafted paintings of the 8 Immortals, 4 on each and so quite special, and rare. The vase component is cylindrical, with a circumference of approximately 15 inches; (very different to more common "ginger jar" conversions). They stand about 15" high from the base to the top (where the light bulbs are fitted). The vase component and neck is 23" in total height. The light fixtures are Leviton, with chain switches and adjustable necks which makes them very adaptable to almost any space. The electrical sockets have been refurbished. They are in good working condition. There is a small "hairline" in the ceramic finish on the side of one of the lamps. This is not a crack. The metal tin base is tarnished, appropriate with age of the lamp. This is a beautiful pair of exquisitely hand painted ceramic lamps with very fine detail and featuring the 8 Immortals. All Sales are Final.
