Approximately 30” high X 20” wide. Cast iron base and beam rest support,all other parts are brass except the pivot points which are iron. Markings: “Avery” and “Class B” and “2 l”. This balance is in good condition. There is n o visible rust when assembled, but the bottom of the cast iron base where it rests on the work bench has minor surface rust. There are also minor dents in the brass upright post and minor nicks in some of the brass components. This was a working balance that earned its keep and it still works well.
