Antique T Bailey William Paskell Oil Painting White Mountains NH Landscape in the Original Frame. The frame measures 26 3/4" x 33 5/8" and the canvas on wood stretcher is 24 1/4" x 31 1/8". The painting is signed lower right corner T Bailey and the back of the frame is also marked T Bailey. I would say it is 1920's era. Fall autumn foliage trees with path in foreground and mountains in background. Likely New Hampshire and certainly New England. The canvas has 1 small puncture top right corner (no pieces are missing so easy repair); there is also an old very light dampness near the top. The original wood frame is fairly light but is solid and sturdy enough for a safe fit. Please see my 12 detailed photos.T Bailey (19/20th century) T. Bailey was active/lived in Massachusetts. T Bailey is known for marine painting. T. Bailey, the pseudonym of several artists associated with the Massachusetts communities around Cape Ann, who painted for the tourist trade during the early to mid-20th century. After 1910 a large number of marine paintings by unknown artist "T. Bailey" flooded the market - all sold by an artist's representative/dealer by the name of Morris Hambro (1860-1938). William Frederick Paskell (1866-1951) has been suggested as being one of the painters of "T. Bailey's works. Davenport's Art Reference has him listed as Bailey, T.
